Daily Routine

1. Market Breadth
Assess the overall health of the market to determine risk on/off environments. Never force trades when Breadth is bad.

Action Steps

  • 1Navigate to the Market Breadth tab to view key indices (SPY, QQQ, IWM).
  • 2Check the 'Breadth Score' as an integrated view of the market health.
  • 3Monitor % stocks above MA50, Net Adv/Dec, Net New Highs/Lows to see if participation is broad or narrow.
  • 4Use the heatmap to identify sector-wise participation.

Pro Insights

Tip:A rising market with falling breadth (divergence) often signals a reversal.

Tip:High participation (broad breadth) in a rally confirms the trend's sustainability.

Tip:If Breadth is bad, SIT ON YOUR HANDS. Do not force trades.

2. Stock Themes
Discover emerging narratives and thematic plays before they become mainstream.
2. Stock Themes - Screenshot 1

Action Steps

  • 1Go to the Stock Themes tab to see where the money is flowing.
  • 2Review the performance of themes over the last 5 days and 1 month.
  • 3Click on a top-performing theme to see its constituent stocks.
  • 4Look for correlated moves across stocks in the same theme.

Pro Insights

Tip:Institutional money often flows into specific themes (e.g., AI, Semis, metals) together.

Tip:Be early to the theme but wait for individual stock setups.

Tip:Strong themes give 'wind at your back' for individual trades.

3. Trade Planning
Focus on the break outs and episodic pivots setups, and review your plan.
3. Trade Planning - Screenshot 1

Action Steps

  • 1Check the watchlist tab, including breakouts and episodic pivots, and your own curated lists.
  • 2Review your specific entry triggers (price alerts) before the market open.
  • 3Execute trades only if your specific criteria are met, and always do risk management.

Pro Insights

Tip:Keep your focus list small (3-5 stocks) for the open.

Tip:Don't chase. Let it go and move on to the next setup if you missed the entry.

Weekend Deep Dive

1. Sector/Theme Rotation
Analyze the big picture to find leading and lagging sectors/themes.
1. Sector/Theme Rotation - Screenshot 1
1 / 3

Action Steps

  • 1Go to Relative Strength tab and research across sectors, industries, and themes.
  • 2Sorted by Relative Strength % to see who is leading and lagging across all timeframes.
  • 3Drill down from Strong Sectors -> Strong Industries/Themes -> Strong Stocks.
  • 4Personalize your view: Switch between 'Standard RS' and 'Volatility-Adjusted RS' (VARS)

Pro Insights

Tip:Stocks in leading sectors have a higher probability of success.

Tip:Avoid trying to pick bottoms in lagging sectors.

Tip:Toggle timeframes from 1W for speed to 1Y or Weighted for structural strength.

2. RS Screening
Build your universe of high-quality stocks for the upcoming week.
2. RS Screening - Screenshot 1

Action Steps

  • 1Set filters based of your preferences, including liquidity, volatility, and RS%.
  • 2Curate the number of stocks you would like to scan for the upcoming week, (e.g., 100 - 500).
  • 3Download the scanned results and import in your charting platform (tradingview, tc2000)

Pro Insights

Tip:The goal is not to find *every* stock, but the leading stocks in the leading sectors/themes/industries.

Tip:Again, only leaders should be on your watchlist, don't waste time on laggards.

The Execution Checklist

The Pre-Trade Checklist
Your final audit before taking the trade.
The Pre-Trade Checklist - Screenshot 1

Action Steps

  • 1Define the Risk: Calculate your position size based on a clear stop-loss level.
  • 2Verify Relative Strength: Ensure you are trading the leader in a leading group/theme.
  • 3Check ATR Extension: Avoid entries where a stock is already up 5x+ its ATR from the 50-day moving average.
  • 4Review Earnings Date: Confirm no high-volatility events are scheduled for the following week.

Pro Insights

Tip:Successful trading is about checking all boxes with data-driven analysis.

Tip:If one criterion isn't met (especially ATR or Earnings), wait or skip the trade.

Tip:There's no 100% winning strategy, cut your losses short and let your winners run.
